Long-term affordable housing
Non-market rental housing is available for Vancouver residents who are unable to pay market-level rents. Each long term affordable housing option has its own application procedure.
The Non-Market Housing Inventory features a comprehensive list or co-operatives, subsidized BC Housing, and non-profit housing in Vancouver.
It is easy to navigate housing options by different geographical region and organization.
The site also also features the addresses and phone numbers of each organization, so you may contact them directly to see if they have any available housing spaces.
If you would like more information about the organization(s) listed, search for it. Oftentimes, organizations will have more than one housing project located in Metro Vancouver (e.g. Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, Surrey) and while it will not be visible on the Housing Inventory, it will be listed on their website.
