- Seniors' Supportive Housing: For low-income individuals who need some assistance in order to continue to live independently.
- Assisted Living: A middle option between home care and residential care which provides things such as accommodations, meals, recreational opportunities and medication management for eligible seniors. Assisted Living can only be provided by referral from health agencies such as Vancouver Coastal Health

- SAFER (Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters) is a rental assistance program through BC Housing to help low income seniors. The contact information is below:

- Home Adaptation for Independence is a financial assistance program which helps low-income seniors and people with disabilities finance home modifications for accessible, safe and independent living. Tenants can also apply for this subsidy.
- The Ministry of Social Development oversees supplements which may assist is finding stable housing. A comprehensive list is on their website, but some supplement examples include:
